Avax SA 410 operates under a flat structure within its administrative and support function, encompassing core services such as Finance, Project Management, and Health & Safety. Specialized services, including Legal and Human Resources, are outsourced to professional service providers. This ensures a streamlined and well-managed support function for our core technical units.
Our support services team comprises highly qualified individuals, ready to assist clients and provide vital support to our technical teams.
Our 24/7 call-out and assistance services have an average response time of 30 minutes, with resolution times determined by priority levels.
The Help Desk Team manages and analyzes all client requests and queries. At Avax SA, we ensure that our Help Desk Team is well-versed in our client's procurement procedures to deliver effective support. This team also organizes training and support services, placing significant emphasis on telephonic communication skills to guarantee quality assistance for both buyers and suppliers.
Our core operational staff comprises qualified technicians divided into dedicated operational teams, each assigned to spesific projects. This structure ensures continuity and consistency throughout the project timeline.
Before undertaking a project, Avax SA assesses the availability of qualified personnel and equipment to ensure they can be dedicated to the task. Depending on the complexity of the project, each Foreman Technician is assigned a spesific number of Junior Technicians, along with skilled and semi-skilled technicians. All our technicianshold Krone Certificates and have undergone training in FOT, KBC, and Transvaal.
Our Maintenance Services team operates on a preventative maintenance schedule, implementing 'break-fix' solutions that include general housekeeping. Avax SA maintains its own workshop, where equipment and tools are serviced and maintained by in-house staff.
Our Team Leaders, Foreman, and Senior Technicians are fully qualified in the field of telecommunications and data communications. They are Krone certified and FOT trained as fiber Technicians. Additionally, they recieve training in safety, construction procedures, and team-building skills.
Our Junior Technicians are fully qualified in telecommunications and data communications. They are Krone certified and FOT trained as Fiber Technicians. They undergo saftey training and must possess a minimum of 3 years of experience in the field to qualify.
Avax SA's Assistant Technicians are qualified in data communication and hold Krone certification. they also recieve saftey training.
Our Call-out Team is equipped with all nessesary tools and equipment to address any incidents. This team consists of two Senior Technicians and two Junior Technicians. The Senior Technicians operate on a monthly standby basis, responsible for providing assessment reports. They are issued contract phones to ensure continuous communication. Junior Technicians assist the Senior Technicians and are trained in accordance with the standards outlined above.

Our main facility is situated just outside of Rustenburg - ideally placed to minimise response times for our clients situated within Rustenburg, as well as the outlying areas where most of our clients are situated. With our facility so close to our main client base - the mining industry - we are able to offer a 24 hour, 7 days a week, call-out services at a cost-effective price.
Our operations consist of a fully functional workshop where all products are serviced and maintained in-house by qualified staff. The site also houses its own store where all required parts and products are kept. The main building houses our management offices and Help Desk facility, ensuring effective and efficient management and administration of all our services and products.
Our operational strategy relies on having the required technical skills and competencies in-house, ensuring that we can deliver on time and provide continued support and maintenance on a 24-hour call-out basis.
